Our instructors have years, some cases decades, of experience teaching and diving around the globe. The resume of our instructors include working with handicapped divers,technical diving, 1st Aid instruction, public safety diving, equipment repair technicians, Merchant Marine Officers and diving just for the and diving just for the fun of it.

 All listed courses include course manuals and instructor fees along with certification card costs but do not include travel costs such as hotels, transportation, park and boat fees. All students are expected to own or rent all required scuba gear appropriate to the level of the course they are attending. The instructor shall initially assist the student in checking all student gear to insure it is adequate and in proper working order.

NAUI Advance DiverTuition: $279 (includes free on-line academics) August 26
Take your diving to the next level and become a NAUI Advance Diver. During this course you will learn and experience what it takes to dive to deeper depths as well as during the night along with a better understanding of underwater navigation. Your course will include a brief overview of other interesting topics including photography, hunting, air consumption and risk management. Upon completion of this course which entails 6 to 8 dives along with pool instruction you will be certified to dive to 130′ as well as during night dives without the need for a divemaster or instructor to be present.

NAUI Nitrox DiverTuition $149 (includes free on-line academics) Sept. 16

Want to extend your bottom time, lessen your surface interval, and maximize every dive? Become an Enriched Air Nitrox diver! You will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. Your instructor will teach you about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth;  use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.
After your exam, you can qualify for the Nitrox recognition card, or go ahead and complete two dives to receive your Nitrox Diver certification card. And, your NAUI instructor can integrate your Nitrox course into your Scuba Diver course!

NAUI Deep Diver:   Tuition $189 August 26

Although this is not a decompression techniques course, you will learn about decompression procedures including nitrogen narcosis and decompression sickness, and the use of dive computers including avoiding the need for stage decompression. Your course will also include teachings on the purpose, problems, hazards, planning, equipment, air supplies, personnel, techniques, gas management, emergency procedures, and depth limits for recreational diving. Deep diving is defined as dives made between 60 feet / 18 meters and 130 feet / 40 meters.

NAUI 1st AidTuition $69 Forming Now

This course is a basic hands-on 1st aid/CPR course that covers not only basic skills but is designed for the scuba diver in mind.  A review of diving specific injuries like Decompression Sickness and hazardous marine life along with rescuer safety topics including bloodborne pathogens. This is a class that all divers and non-divers should enroll in.

NAUI 1st  Aid for the Professional Diver:   Tuition $159

NAUI Underwater Hunter:   Tuition $149 TBA

If spearfishing or collecting underwater specimens interests you, the Underwater Hunter and Collector course may be just right for you. You’ll learn about skin diving techniques, hazards and cautions, safety concerns, spear-fishing and collection equipment, and specific techniques on how to hunt and collect responsibly, while minimizing the diving risks of such activities. Your instructor will also teach you about conservation, fishing laws and regulations,      sportsmanship, utilizing your catch, selecting specimens, preservation, shell collecting, aquaria, and hunting and collecting dive locations.

NAUI Hollis Explorer Rebreather:   Tuition $899 TBA

Learn to dive the new Hollis Explorer Rebreather. Divers wishing to learn this piece of equipment should be very comfortable diving without the aid of a dive leader as well as hold a rating of Advance, Deep & Nitrox. Other qualifications are required, please contact the shop for details.

NAUI Search & Recovery Tuition $199

At some point in your diving career, you or your buddy will either loose or find  something underwater and the knowledge and skills you gain in the Search and Recovery Diver course will help you when you do!
In your Search and Recovery Diver course you’ll learn about underwater navigation using natural and compass techniques; the problems, methods, equipment, hazards, and safety procedures regarding limited visibility diving; proper search methods and techniques; and how to handle light salvage or recovery, including rigging and knot tying.

If you possess the desire to assist in the training of other divers, a Training  Assistant specialty course might be for you. This course will qualify you in the skills and knowledge necessary to perform as a training assistant during diver training courses overseen by an active-status NAUI Instructor.
As a certified NAUI Training Assistant, you will be qualified to temporarily directly supervise students while an instructor conducts skills with other students; escort students on the surface or on underwater tours; and assist an active-status NAUI Instructor with other tasks, all under the direction of a NAUI instructor. While certification as a Training Assistant does not confer any NAUI Leadership certification, the experience, knowledge and confidence you gain working as a Training  Assistant can help you achieve your goal of becoming a NAUI member!

NAUI Rescue DiverTuition $289 (includes free on-line academics) Forming Now !

Once you are 15 years of age and a certified scuba diver, you can expand your diving knowledge with a Scuba Rescue Diver course. Learn how to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to perform surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.
CPR and First Aid certifications are required to complete this course. Your Scuba Rescue Diver training moves you on your pathway to becoming a NAUI Leader: Skin Diving Instructor, Assistant Instructor, Divemaster, or Instructor.

Gain the in-depth knowledge that will establish you as a recognized authority in your group. Hone your diving skills to the level of a professional NAUI Leader. Thrill to the adventure of open water dives in settings that will test your abilities to their limit while enhancing and expanding your diving capabilities. Then proudly wear the most coveted and respected patch in recreational diving -that of the NAUI Master Scuba Diver. The course is an continuing education certification course for divers who wish to increase their understanding and enjoyment of diving. Emphasis is on student participation and practical application of knowledge in open water after a classroom discussion of subjects. This course is an excellent progression toward NAUI Leadership roles.

Some subject areas are a review and expansion of material from previous courses. Each subject area is a progression in study not a definitive study in the particular diving activity. However, instructors will specify performance objectives for related course diving activities, for example, during a navigation dive the student will swim a reciprocal course to within 10 feet (3 m) of its origin.
